This is an important project related to the education sector. Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram started its journey by establishing a hostel, and the working and achievements of hostels reflect the dedication of Kalyan Ashram towards education and development.
Today Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Haryana is running 2 hostels in Haryana, where a total of 65 students are studying.
Many rural and forest dwelling workers, while introducing themselves, proudly say: "I have studied in the hostel of Kalyan Ashram." This reflects the important role played by hostels in developing dedicated workers and responsible citizens.
Hostels provide a conducive atmosphere where students receive education along with value-based learning. They help children develop discipline, self-confidence, social responsibility and a spirit of service.
Many children from remote rural areas and far-flung regions of the North-East come to study in hostels run by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in different cities across the country.
This unique educational project strengthens the feeling of national unity by bringing students together through education, cultural exchange and shared values.
